the meaning behind 'Knight'
A knight is an elite fighter in battle, faced with hardships, but comes out untouched. Much like a lot of the woman of today, fighting with body image battles, faced with mislabeling, and manoeuvring the market that caters mostly to unrealistic body ideals.
As a company run by women, we want our swimwear to be your armor in these battles, by creating confidence and showing off the curves that need highlighting. From the beach, to at home, we want you to feel comfortable and celebrate the skin you’re in.
With sustainability in mind, we only use eco-friendly materials and practices from our manufacturing to our packing bags. So not only do we have you in mind, but also our Mother Earth.

I’ve always loved swimwear. When I was younger I would wear a bikini around the house. As I got older I became more aware of my body and what I didn’t like about it. I began covering myself up, eating less, and stressing more. I started Knight at the time that I was finally beginning to love myself and my body again. Knight started from a place of creating swimsuits that are comfortable, and make you feel beautiful. To me, the word “Knight” is powerful, confident, proud, and unique. I want every person who puts on a Knight bikini to feel that confidence and power.

Here at Knight, I get to marry my passions of creativity and business growth into one and call it work. There's deep intention behind everything I do, whether that's in my work, my personal growth or in any of the beautiful mundane moments we get to experience in this life. It's all so meaningful when connected to intention. This is why growing professionally and personally at Knight was a no-brainer. This women run company is intention driven, soul driven, down to every decision made - and I'm grateful to be a part of something I so deeply believe in.

Design is my life. Before I became a full time designer for Knight I actually made my own bikinis, though they don’t even compare to Knight’s quality in the slightest, they were actually terrible. Since working for this body positive, woman run, and overall extremely inspiring business, I’ve learned how important good material and innovative design can be for making you feel amazing inside and out. We put as much of our time, skill, love, blood, sweat, and sometimes tears into our pieces as possible so that you too can feel beautiful.

I started at Knight Swim in June of 2023 and when I’m asked
“what do you do?”
I always respond with, “a little bit of everything!” From fulfilling orders at the warehouse, responding to emails, answering Insta DM’s, replying to reviews and more. I am so thankful to be a part of such an incredible brand! Working with such a driven team of passionate women, I feel motivated and inspired every day.
